Fabio Porfidia
Passionately design was for me has always been an obsession. From childhood I loved it represented everything that surrounded me, the discovery of cartoons and comic books did nothing more than feeding my passion. The years of the University (degree in economics) made me at first abandon all this interest, but it has occurred with increasing force, so that, in 2006, finished college, I decided to enroll at the School of 'Arte del Castello Sforzesco in Milan in order to gain more control in this passion that I devoured. After 3 years came up with 30/30 and a very valuable theoretical knowledge that I had first. Now I'm a freelance illustrator who works with anyone who needs pictures of any kind. My passion for fantasy and science fiction led me to work with writers, emerging as the Rita Arcidiacono, Fabrizio Valenza, Lorenzo Ruby, but especially with role-playing games such as manuals Methyrfall (Raven Distribution, R'Dice Games Development), l ' U.S. 'Allura publisher Publishing, Faith Empire, Eden: Deception. My many passions lead me increasingly into contact with reality such as the cartoon and video game. I had the great fortune to attend, in fact, courses taught by the illustrator and screenwriter Alex Sciarrone Claudio Crippa. My influences and passions were many: from horror to Gothic, from the fantasy more dreamy science fiction to the most brutal, the most demented cartoon noir the most raw. I love literature, comics (of any nationality), and are increasingly fascinated by the concept art behind the film and video games. Even the sacred art I like enormously but have not yet had the opportunity to experience something like that.
I thank God and my parents allowed me to take this path certainly not easy and who continue to support me in difficult times.
